Do you suffer from anxiety attacks??

Panic and fear are two common words and anyone and everyone has experienced it numerous times since childhood.

Anxiety, panic or fear need not necessarily be considered bad. Many a times they spur us to perform better. Their presence in moderation is necessary but it classifies as abnormal or as a mental disorder when their presence becomes too over bearing or irrational so as to affect an individual's daily routine. When its presence is too over whelming it classifies as a mental disorder commonly called as Anxiety Attacks or Panic Attacks.

Staying tense, having irrational fears about danger lurking everywhere etc are some of the emotional symptoms of anxiety disorders. These emotional fears are sometimes compounded with physical symptoms such as a pounding heart, excessive sweating or shortness of breath to name a few. These physical symptoms can lead to a full fledged episode of anxiety or panic attack which can last from upto 10 minutes to about 30 minutes whereby a person looses control over himself.

It is important to recognise here that these attacks are curable provided steps are taken early. When self help strategies fail, professional help must be taken. Anxiety disorders are curable and some methods to treat these are Exercise, Hypnosis, Relaxation techniques and in some cases Medication.

That bloated feeling - Is it Constipation??

Irregular bowel movement, bloated feeling, painful defecation due to hard feces, etc etc.....these symptoms when persist over a period of time give rise to a medical condition known as Constipation.

Constipation is experienced by everyone at one time or the other, but it is the duration of this medical condition that indicates its seriousness.

One of the prime reasons for constipation is a lazy colon that doesnt have a regular contraction movement due to which the stool doesnt move towards the rectum. This is caused due to the excessive consumption of junk food, the result of which is, extra hard work to be done by the colon to remove the faeces. This happens at the cost of some detrimental effects to the body, which in the long run can lead to a whole array of diseases.

Excessive prevalence of constipation can be an early indicator of colon cancer though constipation aint a risk factor in itself.

Considering today's pace of life, a healthy diet is not possible for everyone. Hence in such cases regular body cleansing starting from colon cleansing, possible for all :) is essential.

Colon cleansing involves the use of natural supplements, the daily use of which is beneficial to the body. For a person having frequent digestive problems, colon cleansing is the best home made remedy. Colon cleansing reduces the breeding ground for the harmful bacteria in addition to providing an energetic feel to the individual.

Dietary Supplements

Wikipedia defines dietary supplements as a preparation intended to supply nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fatty acids or proteins that are either deficient in the consumed diet or missing from it.

In today's fast paced life, junk food consumption is common among teenagers. It is during such excessive junk food consumption that the use of dietary supplements is needed.

There are anti-aging supplements available which slow down and in some cases even reverse many aging symptoms which vary from fatigue and joint pain to even lack of mental awareness. Today staying young is more about health and less about looks.

Supplements are also available for those interested in body building. Body builders are usually interested in supplements having high protein content. A common source of protein for such people is the Whey Protein Powder . Whey protein is available from milk and hence is fast digesting. So if taken by athletes and body builders it is helpful to them as it is quickly metabolised by the body.

Supplements are also available to help in the process of slimming. These slimming supplements work by reducing water retention and increasing the rate of metabolism. Weight loss pills too work in the same fashion other than the fact that they aid to burn fat faster and inducing a sense of well being.

Getting bald...How does it feel????

This is my first post on this blog and I don't know why but I am feeling like starting my blog with a post on baldness......;)

How does one feel as he starts getting bald??? Being a guy I can emphatize with a person who is starting to go bald.......with me too definitely going to head that way one day or the other!!!

The hard part about baldness isn’t being bald, it’s about going bald...as one of my friends starting to go bald said!!! So whats it about baldness that makes them feel that "Oh-how-do-i-hide-my-bald-patch".....

Even history has instances of people havign always been gullible whereever their hair was concerned. Queen Victoria drank silver birch wine made from sap just because she believed it would cure her baldness....;) In the long run no matter a great majority of men learn to live with it, I think everybody prefers "not going bald". But for a very small number of men, "it becomes a big issue....."

What is it about baldness that suddenly makes men feel so insecure resorting to different tricks to hide their bald patches.....like wearing caps whenever out of the house, wearing wigs, trying different lotions and medicines or going for hair weaving ????
